Shepherd and Flock by the Stream, Jesus / Bible Coloring
Coloring guide
A bearded shepherd in a head covering walks through a grassy meadow with a long hooked staff, while fluffy sheep and little lambs gaze up at him. He wears a flowing robe with a wide sash, a small shoulder bag and simple sandals. Smaller sheep peek out from behind him, and wildflowers and grass tufts dot the ground. Rolling hills, tall cypress-style trees, a big leafy tree on the right and puffy clouds fill the background, and a little stream with rocks runs along the bottom corner. It's a nice pick for Bible story time or Sunday school, since the sheep have plenty of woolly curls for small hands to fill in. Soft cream and light gray work for the wool, warm browns for the robe and staff, and yellows, pinks and purples for the flowers. This free printable has a portrait layout that fits standard paper. - 2Fill the leaf green tree canopy and trunk on the right, and the bright green grass and bushes around the sheep and flowers.
- 3Color the shepherd's terracotta red cloak and sleeves, then the peach skin on his face, neck, hand and feet.
- 4Paint the cream white robe, the sheep fleece and the lambs, and the warm beige faces of the sheep. Leave the clouds white.
- 5Add the dark brown beard, the tan brown staff and bag, and the light gray rocks along the stream.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading in darker greens and browns for depth, and leave small white highlights on the flowers and sheep.
