Tall Swirl Updo Shoppies Doll in Striped Boots
Coloring guide
Her hair is the star of this page. The big-eyed doll faces forward with her arms held slightly out, and her hair is piled into a tall swirl on top of her head, with a bow tucked in the curls and a spiral pattern on her forehead. The short dress has a soft, whipped-cream style ruffle and swirled details on the bodice, and fluffy cuffs sit at her wrists. Tall boots with diagonal stripes and heart-shaped details are trimmed with fluff around the tops. She stands on a blank page, so it's all about the doll. Pastel pink and mint could go on the dress, while red and white on the boots would give them a peppermint look. Save this coloring page as a free PDF, no sign-up needed. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face, arms and hands: fill the skin areas with light peach, leaving the eye whites, teeth and fluffy cuffs white.
- 2Color the hair with hot pink and pale yellow, alternating the swirls so the big top swirl and the side locks look striped.
- 3Fill the bow, neck collar and dress top with turquoise, and add a rose pink bow loop for contrast.
- 4Color the dress skirt with warm caramel and the heart on the bodice with raspberry red, keeping the whipped cream swirl white.
- 5Use rose pink and light pink for the striped boots and legs, and keep the fluffy boot trims white.
- 6Optional: Add a little light blue gray shading under the hair, the dress and the sleeves to give the drawing some depth.
