A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big red parts: the left wing, both shoulders, the right wing, and the tall fins at the top, using bright red.
- 2Fill the legs, hips, and waist with royal blue, and the right arm as well. Leave the long white leg stripe and the chest plate white.
- 3Color the large round thruster and the right hand and foot pieces with charcoal gray, then add slate gray to the small wing fins and helmet eye area.
- 4Add golden yellow to the head crest and top of the head, and dark brown to the two side head shields. Use burnt sienna for the small chest accent.
- 5Use pale steel for the face plate and mouth, and light gray for the chin, wheel rings, and wheel knob. Keep the eyes and highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add a few light strokes of darker gray along the edges of the red wings and the blue legs to make them look shaded.
