Silly Cupcake With Big Googly Eyes and Chocolate Chips

A chubby muffin-style cupcake has two large round eyes sitting on top, each with a big solid black pupil looking off to the side. The rounded top is mostly smooth and blank, with a wide curved mouth stretched across the lower half. Inside the open mouth you can see a few dark chocolate chip spots scattered on the cake. At the bottom, a paper wrapper with tall vertical lines holds everything together. The large open spaces on the cupcake top are great for kids who like to color with crayons or markers, and the thick outlines are easy to stay inside. Try turning it into a favorite flavor, such as pink strawberry or brown chocolate, then talk about which toppings or sprinkles you would add. This free printable page works well for a baking-themed afternoon at home or in the classroom.
