Goofy Pumpkin With Googly Eyes and a Long Tongue
Coloring guide
This silly round pumpkin stares right out of the page with two big, mismatched googly eyes. It grins from ear to ear, and a long tongue hangs down over its bottom edge. A wavy line across the top of the mouth makes the smile look wobbly and playful. A thick curved stem rises from the top, with a little curly vine twirling off to the right, and three scalloped leaves sit at the base: left, middle and right. Bold outlines and large shapes make this free printable a good match for younger kids still learning to stay inside the lines. Orange for the pumpkin, green for the stem and vine, and warm reds and yellows for the leaves look good. A pink or red tongue will really make the face pop. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big pumpkin body, including its front, sides and top, in pumpkin orange, and leave the two large eye whites white.
- 2Fill the stem and its stripes in leaf green, then add olive green along the left edge of the stem.
- 3Color the open mouth in deep red and the long tongue in coral pink, keeping the tongue's center line as a shaded fold.
- 4Color the two side leaves in golden yellow and the small leaf at the bottom in tomato red.
- 5Fill the pupils in black, leaving a tiny white shine dot in each one so the eyes look glossy.
- 6Optional: add a few darker orange strokes along the pumpkin's edges and a little deeper red at the inside of the mouth for depth.
