Coloring guide

A single spider is drawn in clean black outlines, seen from above. It has a small rounded head with two short pointed fangs at the top and a large round belly at the bottom. Eight long legs spread out from the middle of the body, four on each side. Each leg bends sharply at the joints and narrows to a point at the tip, so they look like thin folded ribbons you can fill in. The shapes are big and open with no background, which makes this easy for younger kids and good for practicing staying inside the lines. Try coloring each leg a different shade to count all eight, or turn the round belly into a pattern of stripes or spots. It works well as a free printable for a Halloween table or a lesson on spider body parts.
