Single Cake Wedge with a Tall Lit Candle

A single wedge of cake sits at an angle, showing its triangular top and the layered side facing us. One tall, thin candle stands upright in the middle of the top, with a small flame drawn above it and a few drips of wax near the candle's rim. Thick icing covers the top and spills over the front edge in wavy drips, with one long drip hanging lower than the others. The cut side of the slice is split into several horizontal stripes, so it looks like a cake with many layers and thin filling between them. The outlines are bold and the spaces are fairly large, which makes it easy for younger kids to color. Try alternating colors on the layers, like chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, then pick a bright color for the icing and a warm yellow and orange for the flame. You can print it as a free party activity or a birthday card to decorate.
