Oak Leaf Stretching Diagonally With Bulbous Lobes

Coloring guide
One large oak leaf stretches diagonally across the page, with its stem curving down to the lower right. The edges have deep, wavy cuts that form rounded lobes on both sides of the leaf, and a few of the lobes are wide and bulbous at the tips. A thick central vein runs from the stem up toward the top, and thin curved side veins branch off into each lobe. The background is plain white, so there is plenty of room to work. Try coloring it in autumn shades, using yellow near the stem and blending into orange and red at the lobe tips. Younger kids can trace the side veins with a darker crayon, while older students can use the page to talk about leaf parts and how oak leaves differ from other tree leaves. It prints nicely on regular letter paper.
