A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the penguin's head, back, and flippers in charcoal gray, leaving the face, eye whites and belly white.
2. 2Fill the penguin's beak in golden yellow and the tongue in coral pink.
3. 3Color the scarf around the penguin's neck and the snowman's scarf and hat in bright red, with dark red on the darker stripes and fringe edges.
4. 4Paint both skate boots in bright blue, keeping the blades white, and add a pale ice blue patch under the right skate.
5. 5Color the pine trees and small tree in forest green, keeping the snowy tops white, then add pale ice blue to the snow mound and ice patch on the right.
6. 6Optional: Add a little charcoal gray shading along the penguin's belly edges for depth.
