Skiing Santa Claus Racing Down a Snowy Hill
Coloring guide
Santa zooms down a snowy slope on skis in this cheerful free printable. His mouth is open in a grin, a ski pole is in each mittened hand, and he's wearing a fluffy-trimmed hat with a pom-pom, a big belted coat and cozy boots clipped into the skis. Little sprays and dots of snow show how fast he's going. Behind him are snow-covered evergreen trees, a small log cabin with a chimney and snowy roof, rolling hills and a mountain peak far away. Large shapes and clear outlines work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids. A bright red suit looks great with pale blue shadows in the snow, and warm yellow in the cabin windows will make the little house feel inviting. Print it as a PDF for a winter or holiday activity at home or in class. If you enjoyed this Santa Claus page, don't miss our Disney Christmas and Christmas for Kids coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: color Santa's hat, jacket, pants, and sleeves bright red, leaving the white fur trims on the hat, sleeves, and boots unpainted.
- 2Fill Santa's face with soft peach, and color the mittens and gloves warm brown, adding dark brown to the boots.
- 3Color the pine trees with deep green, forest green, and leaf green, keeping the snowy tops, the snow on the hill, and the beard white.
- 4Paint the skis with royal blue and sky blue, and color the cabin walls and door warm brown, leaving the cabin roof white.
- 5Add the belt in charcoal gray with a slate gray buckle, and color the boot straps and buckles golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Use a slightly darker shade of red or brown on the shaded sides of the jacket and pants for a bit more depth.
