Fast asleep inside a round, donut-shaped bed, a tabby kitten wears a happy little smile. Its eyes are shut, its front paws are tucked under its chin and its tail wraps around its body. A soft pillow rests behind it, and stripes run across its forehead, back and tail. The bed has a wavy icing edge with small sprinkle shapes around the rim, so there's lots to color. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big donut ring: color the frosting area with hot pink, leaving the sprinkles uncolored for now.
- 2Fill the donut base at the bottom and the inner donut hole with caramel brown for a cozy warm backdrop.
- 3Color the cat's head, body, and hind leg with light orange, then add tangerine orange stripes on the back and forehead.
- 4Paint the pillow with baby blue, and add soft pink inside the cat's ears.
- 5Leave the two front paws white so they stand out against the orange fur.
- 6Finish with the sprinkles: use lemon yellow, sky blue, royal blue, lime green, violet purple, mint green, and bright blue scattered around the frosting. Optional: add a few darker strokes along one side of the pillow and the donut for a little depth.
