A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: fill the blue blanket in sky blue, and color the cat's head, back, tail and paws in soft orange, leaving the floor and background white.
- 2Color the basket weave in caramel brown, then add the lighter wicker strips in light tan.
- 3Fill the twisted rope rim around the top and edges of the basket in cream beige, then add the deep orange stripes on the cat's head and tail.
- 4Color the cat's inner ears in light pink and the little nose in rose pink, keeping the closed eyes and the floor background white.
- 5Optional: add a little extra caramel brown along the cat's outline and under the basket for a bit of depth.
