Sleepy Boss Baby Lying on a Rippled Blanket

A baby lies on his belly on a soft, rippled blanket, with his head lifted and his eyes half closed in a sleepy, unimpressed look. One eyebrow is raised higher than the other. He has a big swoop of hair combed to the side, a small round nose, and tiny pursed lips. His bare bottom and one bent leg stick up behind him, with the foot crossed over at the toes. One chubby hand rests forward on the blanket with the fingers spread. Long wavy lines across the bottom of the page show the folds of the bedding. This is clearly the Boss Baby character. Try soft skin tones for his face and pale pastels for the blanket, then use a darker shade for the hair so the side swoop stands out. The large open areas are easy for younger kids to fill in, and the sleepy face gives older kids a nice detail to work on.
