A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the window sky in royal blue, leaving the stars and the crescent moon mostly white or lightly tinted in lemon yellow.
- 2Fill the upper walls with soft lilac and lavender, and color the wooden wall panels, window sill and railing in warm brown.
- 3Color the big pink pony body and the sleeping yellow pony in baby pink and lemon yellow, keeping the closed eyes and small highlights white.
- 4Add the green hills and bushes outside the window in forest green, then fill the blanket and bedding with lavender and baby blue.
- 5Give the manes and tails bold color with violet purple, plum purple, hot pink and tangerine, and add the little bow and teddy bear in baby blue and baby pink.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker strokes of royal blue or violet purple along the edges of the pony bodies for a soft shadowed look.
