Sleepy Snake Curled Up on a Sunny Rock

Coloring guide
Eyes closed and a little forked tongue peeking out, this smiling snake rests in a tidy spiral on top of a big rounded rock. Large round spots cover its body, and curved lines run across the belly, so there's plenty to fill in. A bright sun with short rays shines in the upper right corner, and a few grass tufts and small stones sit at the foot of the rock. Thick outlines and roomy spaces keep things friendly for preschoolers and early elementary kids building crayon control. Soft greens with yellow spots look nice on the snake, with a warm yellow sun and a gray or brown rock. Print it free for quiet time at home or in class. This fits right in with our Snake coloring pages — see also Puppies and Cats.
