Moon Astronaut Girl Planting a Star Flag, Anime Style
Coloring guide
Standing on the moon in a big round helmet, a happy young astronaut holds up a tall flagpole topped with a star flag. Her chunky spacesuit comes with a backpack, a chest control panel, round sleeve patches, padded knees and sturdy boots. Big sparkly anime-style eyes and an open smile give her lots of personality. A small rover with wheels and a satellite dish waits behind her on bumpy ground covered in craters and little rocks. A ringed planet and a handful of stars hang in the sky above. With large, clear shapes, it's good for kids who like staying inside the lines, and this free printable fits a classroom space unit or a calm afternoon. A red flag with a yellow star looks great, along with soft blue and silver on the suit. Kids who like Anime Style coloring pages usually enjoy PAW Patrol and Shopkins too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the flag and planet: color the flag cloth red and the planet's body orange, leaving the star on the flag for later.
- 2Fill the astronaut's backpack, gloves, boots, and the ring around the helmet with bright blue, then use royal blue for the shoulder emblem and backpack strap.
- 3Color the face and visible skin with peach, the hair with brown, and the mouth with coral pink, leaving the eye whites and teeth white.
- 4Add the flagpole, rover wheels, and moon craters in gray tones, and color the rover's body and window in light and sky blue.
- 5Color the star on the flag and the small stars around the scene golden yellow, leaving the suit and helmet glass white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the hair and the flag edges to make the drawing pop.
