Smiling Astronaut Running on the Moon Near Earth

A cheerful astronaut in a full space suit and bubble helmet jogs across a cratered moon surface, giving a thumbs up with one hand. Through the visor you can see a happy face with curly hair and a winking eye. The suit has a round target-style badge on the chest, ribbed cuffs and waist, chunky gloves, big boots and a hose running from the helmet to the backpack. Behind the astronaut, a large Earth shows the outlines of North America, South America and Africa. Small and large outlined stars fill the black sky, and the moon ground has deep craters and little oval pits. Kids could color the Earth blue and green, then use gray and silver on the moon. It also works well for a quick talk about which continents they can spot on the globe. Print as many copies as you need for a space-themed day.
