A cheerful cartoon baby with a big round head, a curly tuft of hair and two little rounded ears sits in a wooden slat-back chair, holding a large bowl of hot soup in both hands. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big round head, both hands and the body in butter yellow, keeping the two eye whites and the small eye shines white.
- 2Fill the soup bowl and its base in tomato red, leaving the thin rim line at the top of the bowl white.
- 3Color the soup surface in amber, then add small chunks in tangerine orange and olive gold.
- 4Use warm brown for the two chair posts, the chair back between them and the wooden table.
- 5Add the right sleeve in sky blue, and color the top hair tuft and both ears in tangerine orange.
- 6Finish with the open mouth in tomato red, the tongue in coral pink and the steam wisps in cream; optional: add a light touch of shading under the head and bowl.
