Smiling Boots the Monkey Sitting With Fireworks

A cheerful monkey sits on the ground with big round eyes, a wide smile, two small nostrils and a tuft of hair curling up from the top of his head. His round ears stick out on both sides, and his long tail swoops around behind him with a curl at the tip. He wears oversized boots with rounded toes, and his arms rest by his sides with spread fingers. This looks like Boots from Dora the Explorer. Around him are firework bursts made of thin dashed lines, plus a few small stars and sparkles scattered across the page. Try coloring the boots in a bright red and filling the sky-like background with a mix of marker colors so the fireworks pop. Kids can also count the firework bursts and sparkles as a quick counting activity. The large open shapes are easy for small hands to color.
