Smiling Boy Baseball Player Holding Bat at Fence

A happy young baseball player stands with a big bat held up across his body, both hands gripping the handle. He wears a helmet, and his eyes are squeezed shut in a cheerful smile. His pinstriped jersey has a short button placket at the collar and a large letter B outlined on the chest. Behind him is a tall chain link fence with a diamond pattern, plus two wide fence posts and a low wall running across the background. A string of triangle pennant flags hangs in the upper right corner. The thin pinstripes and the diamond fence give lots of small spaces for colored pencils or fine markers. Try picking a two-color team scheme for the jersey and helmet, then use the letter B to talk about team names and initials. The free printable also works well as a warm-up before a game day or sports unit.
