Smiling Boy Holding Baseball Bat and Ball

A cheerful boy stands with his eyes closed in a big grin, resting a wooden baseball bat on his shoulder with one hand while holding a baseball in the other. He wears a short-sleeved t-shirt and cuffed pants, and the cuffs have a crisscross diamond pattern. His sneakers have loose, untied laces. His hair sticks up in a few small tufts on top. The lines are clean and the shapes are large, so younger kids can color it without much trouble, and the cuffs give older kids a bit of detail to work on. Try coloring the baseball white with red stitching along the curved seams, then let your child pick team colors for the shirt and pants. It also works well for a quick chat about baseball gear, like what a bat and ball are used for. This printable page is a good fit for a rainy afternoon or a sports unit in class.
