A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the sky in the windows and behind the pilot with light sky blue, and the outside of the cockpit ceiling area with royal blue for deeper shade.
- 2Fill the pilot's cap with navy blue, then add the gold stripe and the small wings emblem in golden yellow.
- 3Color the face, ears and hands with light tan, and use chocolate brown for the hair, leaving the eye whites, the cloud shapes and the shirt white.
- 4Shade the headphones, the seat and the dashboard with medium gray and slate gray, and use dark charcoal for the console switches and gauges.
- 5Add small details like the red and yellow switches on the lower console with bright red and warm yellow, keeping the highlights white.
- 6Optional: Add darker shading on the seat edges and under the cap brim with navy blue or dark charcoal for more depth.
