Face and Body Anatomy: Boy Sticking Out His Tongue

Coloring guide
This grinning kid with short, messy hair is sticking out his tongue and waving one open hand at you. Big round eyes with shiny highlights, curved eyebrows, and a small round nose give him plenty of personality. His ears and neck are drawn with simple, clean lines, and he wears a plain crew-neck shirt with a ribbed collar. A few outlined stars and small circles float around him as extra bits to color. Since you can see the face, tongue, ears, and hand, it's handy when kids are learning body parts, and the large open spaces are good for chunky crayons. Try peach skin, a pink tongue, and a blue or green shirt, with yellow stars. Free to print for home or school. Looking for more? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big areas: fill the face, neck, ears, and raised hand with peach skin.
- 2Color the hair chestnut brown, leaving a few small white streaks for shine.
- 3Fill the open mouth with dark maroon, then color the tongue coral pink.
- 4Color the shirt collar and the two stars on the left and top left golden yellow.
- 5Add sky blue to the small dots and the patch on the shirt side, and color the two round dots bright red.
- 6Optional: leave the eye whites and the eye shine white, and add a slightly darker peach skin shade under the chin for depth.
