Bunny Peeking Into a Pot of Gold Coins: Rainbow & Pot of Gold (St. Patrick's) Spring Page
Coloring guide
A smiling bunny with long upright ears rests both front paws on the rim of a big pot full of round gold coins, eyes wide as it looks down at the treasure. A large rainbow of several curved bands arches behind its head. The pot has a ring-shaped handle on the side, and the bunny's fluffy tail and back foot stick out from behind it. Around the scene you'll find tufts of grass, daisy-style flowers with round centers, and several four-leaf clovers across the bottom and sides. Coin shapes, big petals and wide rainbow stripes keep things easy for small hands. Golden yellow works for the coins, with green for the clovers and grass. This free printable fits a St. Patrick's Day or spring activity at home or in the classroom. Looking for more? - 2Color the big pot in charcoal gray, then fill the coins with golden yellow, adding a few cream coins at the back for variety.
- 3Paint the rainbow arcs one by one: red on the outside top, bright orange, amber, golden yellow, grass green, and sky blue on the inner bands, leaving the sky white.
- 4Add the clovers and grass in forest green and grass green, and make the daisy centers golden yellow while the petals stay white.
- 5Color the ears' insides and the bunny's nose in soft pink, then fill the handle on the pot with golden yellow.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker brown on the bunny's cheeks and a touch of gray on the pot's edges for depth.
