A happy little bunny sits upright in a cozy heap of autumn leaves. It has big shiny eyes, long tall ears and whiskers on each cheek, and its fluffy tail peeks out at the side. Right next to it is a round ribbed pumpkin with a curly vine on the stem. A small spotted mushroom pokes up between the leaves at the lower right, and two acorns with textured caps rest at the lower left. Large maple-style leaves cover the ground around the bunny. Thick, clean outlines and roomy spaces make this a friendly choice for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it's a free printable for a fall classroom or a rainy afternoon. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the bunny's head, body, and ears in caramel brown, leaving the eye whites and the small shine dots in the eyes white.
- 2Fill the inner parts of the ears and the nose with baby pink, and color the bunny's mouth light gray.
- 3Color the pumpkin in pumpkin orange and its stem and curly top in grass green, keeping the little curl at the top white.
- 4Color the maple leaves in maple red, golden yellow, and bright orange, and fill the bunny's fluffy tail and the mushroom stem in soft cream.
- 5Color the acorns and their caps in dark brown and sand beige, then add the mushroom cap in maple red, keeping its round spots white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading in caramel brown along the bunny's belly and under the pumpkin to make the picture look more rounded.
