A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the flower petals: color all the daisy petals around the bottom and sides with bubblegum pink, leaving the white edge highlights where the petals meet the center.
- 2Fill the flower center with golden yellow, then leave the small white dots scattered across it as they are.
- 3Color the butterfly's wings: use violet purple for the outer wing borders, and sky blue for the long stripes in the middle of the wings.
- 4Add bubblegum pink to the inner pink wing stripes, then color the head and upper and lower body segments golden yellow.
- 5Use tangerine orange for the middle body stripe, the tip of the abdomen, the antenna balls, and the small spots on the wings.
- 6Finish with the large yellow spots on the wings and keep the thin legs, the eye whites, and the background white. Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the wings for depth.
