Big sparkly eyes and a wide open smile give this little race car lots of personality as it zooms down a curving road. It has a tall rear spoiler, chunky round wheels, stripes over the hood and rounded headlights that look like friendly cheeks. Rolling hills lead back to a big striped rainbow that arches across the page between puffy clouds, with a few more clouds in the top corners. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the rainbow: color the outer arc tomato red, the next arc orange, then lime green, bright blue and violet purple for the innermost arc.
- 2Fill the two big clouds and the small cloud at the top left with pale sky blue, and leave the sky white.
- 3Color the middle hill and the right hill in lime green, then add the bushes and grass tufts in forest green and grass green.
- 4Paint the car body, spoiler, side panels and front in tomato red, and fill the roof with light gray and the windshield with pale sky blue.
- 5Add golden yellow to the vents, side lights, roof scoop, spoiler ends and wheel hubs, then color the tires charcoal gray. Optional: add a little darker red on the car sides for depth.
- 6Finish the face by keeping the eye whites, hood shine and teeth white and coloring the mouth coral pink. Fill the road in light gray with tomato red curbs and color the flowers violet purple and bright blue.
