Open-Wheel Race Car with a Grinning Young Driver

Coloring guide
A chunky open-wheel race car appears with a happy kid at the wheel, wearing a rounded racing helmet. The visor is lifted so you can see the cheerful face, and both hands rest on the steering wheel. There are big ridged tires on all four corners and a tall rear wing on top. A few straight speed lines on the right show the car zooming ahead. Outlines are bold and clean with large open spaces, so little hands can manage it easily. Try a red body, a sunny yellow helmet, dark gray tires and a different color on the wing. Nothing is drawn in the background, so kids can add their own track, checkered flag or crowd. Good for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Kids who like Race Car coloring pages usually enjoy Trains and Cars too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the main car body, the nose and the rear wing with bright red, leaving the car's body lines as they are.
- 2Color the helmet dome and the wing ends bright red, keeping the helmet's white stripe and visor band white.
- 3Paint the front wing, the lower bumper and the fenders with lemon yellow, then color the wheel hubs golden yellow.
- 4Color all the tires charcoal gray, leaving the small hubs in the middle of each wheel yellow.
- 5Fill the driver's face with peach skin and the suit with sky blue, color the steering wheel charcoal gray, and keep the gloves and eye shines white.
- 6Optional: add a darker red along the lower edges of the body and a few gray strokes on the tires to give depth.
