- 1Start with the balloon: fill the middle stripe with cherry red, the stripe beside it with leaf green, the outer stripes with sunny yellow, and the far left and far right edges with bright blue.
- 2Color the five stars on the balloon sunny yellow, and fill the band under the balloon with mustard gold.
- 3Color the scalloped trim under the balloon in cherry red, and make the small knobs at the balloon top and rope ends sunny yellow and tomato orange.
- 4Fill the basket with caramel brown, and use chocolate brown for the waving arm and the baby's left arm.
- 5Color the baby's face and hands warm skin, the hat sunny yellow with a caramel brown band, the shirt cherry red, and the overall straps bright blue. Leave the eye whites, cheek shines, and shirt collar white.
- 6Optional: Color the clouds pale blue and the birds sky blue with sunny yellow wings, leaving the sun white. Add a little darker shade under the clouds for depth.
