Big Leap Over a Log: Cuphead Lid-Cap Character

A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

• golden yellow
• warm brown
• bright red
• bright blue
• leaf green
• lime green
• light gray
• light tan
• coral pink
• maroon

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Color the character's face, arms, and the sun with golden yellow, leaving the glove and cuffs white.
2. 2Fill the hat dome, brim, and pompom with bright red.
3. 3Color both shoes bright blue, keeping the white cuffs and the white shine on the soles.
4. 4Fill the small ground patch with lime green and the two bushes with leaf green.
5. 5Color the log warm brown, then add light tan to the end rings and the cut-end edges.
6. 6Color the open mouth maroon and the tongue coral pink, keeping the eye whites and glove white. Optional: add a little darker shading under the hat and along the log edges for depth.
