Happy Cupcake with a Cherry: A Mini Cake Treat to Color

Coloring guide
Right in the middle of the page is a cupcake with a big happy face: wide shiny eyes, little eyebrow marks and an open smile on its ruffled paper wrapper. Two thick swirls of frosting rise to a peak, and a round cherry with a curved stem sits on top. Rounded sprinkles float around it and rest on the frosting, so there are plenty of small spaces for little hands to fill. The wavy line where the frosting meets the wrapper is a nice spot to color slowly. Bold lines and large shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. A bright red cherry, pink strawberry frosting and rainbow sprinkles would be fun. Print it at home for kids and coloring fans of any age. - 3Fill the cherry with cherry red, leaving a small white shine spot near the top.
- 4Color the cherry stem leaf green, then fill the smiling mouth with hot pink.
- 5Add sprinkles around the cupcake: bright blue, lemon yellow, leaf green and hot pink, spread across the frosting and the air.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shade of blue along the sides of the wrapper and keep the eye whites and cherry shine bright white.
