Smiling Dolphin Curved in a Leaping Pose

Smiling Dolphin Curved in a Leaping Pose coloring page

Coloring guide

A single dolphin arcs across the page with its body bent into a big curve, snout pointing left and tail swinging out at the bottom. The face is friendly, with one large round eye, a small dot for a blowhole on top of the head, and a curved smile along the long beak. You can see a tall pointed dorsal fin on the back, a smaller flipper tucked below the chin, and a wide tail with two flukes. A few thin lines on the side show the body shape. The outlines are clean and the shapes are large, so this free printable works well for younger kids using crayons. Try shading the back darker gray or blue and the belly in a lighter tone, then talk about how real dolphins have two-tone coloring. Older kids can add their own water background around the dolphin.
