Smiling Dolphin Leaping with Curved Tail

Smiling Dolphin Leaping with Curved Tail coloring page

Coloring guide

A single dolphin arcs through the air with its body curved into a big C shape, head at the top right and tail fluke at the bottom. The dolphin has a small round eye, a pointed snout, and an open smiling mouth with a few teeth showing. You can see a large fin on its back, a rounded flipper on the side, and a smaller flipper tucked below the chin. The tail ends in a wide fluke with a thin line down the middle. The outlines are thick and the shapes are large and simple, so they work well for younger kids using crayons or chunky markers. Try coloring the back a darker blue and leaving the belly area lighter, then talk about how real dolphins often have two-toned bodies. There is no background, so kids can add waves or splashes themselves.
