Smiling Dolphin With Flower on Its Side

A cheerful cartoon dolphin leans forward with its mouth open in a big smile. It has one large round eye with a pupil and a highlight, little eyelashes, and a curved eyebrow above it. A five-petal flower with a small center sits on the side of its head, and a few short lines mark the cheek and body. The dolphin's tall back fin curves up behind it, and a small flipper hangs down in front. Its body bends into a curved tail with a wide fluke at the bottom. The lines are clean and thick, so the shapes are easy for younger kids to fill in. Try coloring the flower in a bright shade like pink or yellow so it stands out against a soft blue body. This printable page also works well for a short lesson on ocean animals, since you can point out the fin, flipper, and fluke as you color each part.
