Egg Basket Farmer Boy by the Chicken Coop

Front and center, a cheerful boy in a wide-brimmed straw hat holds a big woven basket full of eggs in both hands. He wears overalls over a collared shirt and tall rubber boots, and his open-mouthed grin makes the whole page feel happy. To the right, a little wooden chicken coop with a pointed roof has a ramp running down from the door, where a hen looks out. A few grass tufts are drawn around his feet and near the coop. The basket weave is a nice pattern to practice on, while the hat, overalls and boots are big and easy to fill in. Golden yellow for the hat, soft browns for the basket and coop, and denim blue overalls would suit it. It's a free printable for preschoolers and early elementary kids who love farm animals.
