Flower Fairy with a Star Wand and Cute Mushrooms

On tiptoe, a cheerful little fairy with long wavy hair and a flower crown holds a star-topped magic wand in one hand and stretches her other arm out to the side. Sparkles float around the wand and over her big butterfly-style wings. Her heart-shaped bodice has a flower on the front, her skirt is made of layered petals, and her ballet-style shoes have ribbon ties and a small flower on each toe. Two spotted mushrooms, blooming flowers and tufts of grass fill the corners at her feet. Large petals and wing sections are easy for small hands, while the flowers and dots keep older kids busy. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the face, arms, and legs in peach, and fill the hair with golden yellow, leaving the small shine spots white.
- 2Color the tutu petals and the bodice in pale lavender and lavender, using medium purple for the lower tutu edge to add depth.
- 3Fill the wings with sky blue at the tips and edges, and pale lavender across the middle, keeping the sparkle spots white.
- 4Paint the flowers in the crown and the flowers on the ground in soft pink, then fill their centers with golden yellow or leave them white.
- 5Color the mushrooms with tomato red caps and cream stems, leaving the white spots, and add leaf green to the leaves and stems.
- 6Optional: Add a little extra shading in a darker shade of the same color on the tutu and wings, and leave the wand star and the ballet ribbons white for a bright finish.
