Little Frog Peeking Up Out of the Pond Water

Coloring guide
This cheerful frog pokes its head above the water in a simple, bold-lined picture. It has big round eyes, a wide happy smile, and two tiny nostrils, with curved eyebrow lines above the eyes and little round spots on both cheeks. Rippling rings of water circle its head, and in the bottom right corner a lily pad holds a blooming water lily with layered petals. Thick outlines and large open areas work well for preschoolers and early elementary kids who are still building pencil control. It's a free printable that fits a quiet afternoon or a pond-themed lesson. Leaf green for the frog, soft pink or white for the lily petals, and light blue for the ripples will help the frog stand out. - 2Fill the lily pad floating under the frog with forest green, leaving a few light lines on it.
- 3Color the lily flower's main petals in soft pink, and the petals at the back of the flower in golden yellow.
