Grinning Frog on a Lily Pad with a Flower

Coloring guide
Big round eyes, two tiny nostril dots and a grin that goes almost ear to ear: this frog is clearly having a good day on its lily pad. Its front legs rest on the pad, the back legs fold in at the sides, and the toes spread wide out front. At the right edge of the pad there's a small water lily bloom with pointed petals, and wavy lines around it show the pond. Outlines are bold and the shapes are large and simple, which helps preschoolers and early elementary kids still working on pencil control. Leaf green looks nice on the frog, with a pale yellow belly and soft pink petals. Blue ripples finish off the pond. It's a free printable that suits a quiet afternoon. - 3Color the frog's belly shape with butter yellow to make it stand out.
- 4Color the flower petals in bubblegum pink and the middle of the flower in sunny yellow.
- 5Leave the eye whites and the small shine spots in the pupils white, and keep the background white.
- 6Optional: add light back-and-forth scribbles with a slightly darker shade of each color to give a textured look.
