Fruit Market Girl with Basket, Shoppies Dolls Page
Coloring guide
Pigtails tied up in big bows frame the face of a cheerful little girl standing in front of a striped-awning fruit stall. She holds a woven basket of fresh fruit, and inside it you can spot apples, strawberries and a bunch of bananas. The wooden stand behind her shows a pile of apples on the left and a heap of strawberries on the right. Her puff-sleeved dress has a little apron-style top, and she wears ankle socks and buckled Mary Jane shoes. Big eyes and an open smile make her easy to love. Wide awning stripes and basket weave give kids lots of satisfying spaces to fill. Red works for the apples and strawberries, yellow for the bananas, and bright pink or sky blue for the hair bows. Print or download it free for a fun afternoon. Looking for more? Our Puppy Dog Pals and Trolls coloring pages pair nicely with this Shoppies Dolls page.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big dress and the awning: color the dress body and hem in tomato red, and the awning stripes in alternating tomato red and cream white.
- 2Fill the face, hands, ears, neck and legs with light peach, then add soft pink to the open mouth.
- 3Color the hair, pigtails and the left and right stand posts in chestnut brown, and make the bows deep red with tomato red centers.
- 4Use caramel tan for the basket, the wooden market stand and the counter, leaving the basket rim and weave lines as you like.
- 5Color the apples and strawberries in tomato red, add golden yellow to the banana and the small bow on the basket, and leave the strawberry tops and sock areas white.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under the basket and along the dress folds to make the picture pop; keep the eye whites, background and shoe soles white.
