A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.

1. 1Start with the girl's face and hands in skin peach, then fill her hair and the bow with chocolate brown and red.
2. 2Color the big sweater in pale sky blue, leaving the sleeve cuffs and bottom band for later, and add the rainbow arch in orange, amber, and pink.
3. 3Fill the cat sitting on the sweater and the sleeping cat with off white, keeping the eye whites and the white clouds unfilled.
4. 4Add the stars and hearts on the sweater in off white, then color the yarn balls and the basket in orange and tangerine.
5. 5Finish the room with pale yellow, lime green, and light blue for the plant, curtain, and birdhouse, then add small details like the buttons and glue bottle in red and bright yellow.
6. 6Optional: add a little shading on the sweater folds with a slightly darker blue to make it pop.
