Hugging a Winged Leopard Cub: Elena of Avalor Page
Coloring guide
In this sweet scene, a happy little girl with long wavy hair and a flower clip kneels in the grass and throws her arms around a spotted leopard cub. Her dress is ruffled and layered with puffy sleeves, and a flowing cape is fastened at her neck with a round brooch. The cub has big sparkly eyes, whiskers, a happy open-mouth smile, and a small pair of feathered wings on its back. Ring-shaped spots cover its coat, and its curled tail rests alongside. Three puffy clouds float behind them and a few tufts of grass dot the ground. Large, simple shapes make this free printable easy for little hands. Golden yellow with warm brown spots could work for the cub, with bright pink or purple on the dress and pale blue wings so they pop. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the golden yellow on the leopard cub's body, head, and tail, leaving the cream areas on its belly, chest, muzzle, and paws for later.
- 2Fill the girl's dress, sleeves, and skirt ruffles with lavender, and color her skin with peach.
- 3Color the girl's long hair and hairband in brown, and add the rose pink headband and cape.
- 4Use pale blue for the leopard's wing and sky blue for the two clouds, keeping the flower and the cloud outlines bright white.
- 5Color the leopard's ear and the cheek area with light pink, and add orange brown and brown spots on the tail.
- 6Optional: Add a little apricot shading near the leopard's neck and a touch of dusty rose on the girl's shin for depth.
