Perched on top of an oversized polka-dot mushroom, this gnome keeps his hands on the cap while his boots swing over the edge. He has a round nose and a fluffy beard, and his tall pointed hat curls at the tip. His tunic is belted with a large square buckle, and his chunky boots have folded cuffs. Near the top of the stem there's a scalloped ruffle. Down on the ground you'll find two flowers, a little daisy-like bloom, two tiny spotted mushrooms and some grass tufts. Big dots and simple bold lines make it an easy one for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and the printable is free to grab in seconds. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the big mushroom cap and the two small mushroom caps with bright red, leaving the white spots empty.
- 2Fill the gnome's pointed hat with bright red, keeping the beard white.
- 3Color the jacket and both sleeves grass green, then the belt dark brown with a tan buckle.
- 4Color the gnome's pants sky blue and the boots and boot cuffs warm brown.
- 5Fill the mushroom stalk and its wavy top band with cream, and color the hands and ears soft beige and the nose peach.
- 6Color the mouth coral red, the leaves and grass grass green, and the flower stems medium gray; leave the flower petals and eye whites white. Optional: add a little darker shading along one side of each shape for depth.
