A Butterfly Lands on This Smiling Lion Cub's Nose

Coloring guide
Sitting upright in the grass with a big smile, a happy cub looks sideways at a butterfly resting right on its nose. The cub has large round ears, a fluffy tuft on its head, shaggy fur on its cheeks and chest, and a furry-tipped tail curled beside it. The butterfly's wings have dots and scalloped shapes that are fun to fill in. Daisy-style flowers with tall stems and leaves stand on both sides, and tufts of grass run along the bottom. With a mix of big open areas and small details, this free printable works for preschoolers and early elementary kids alike. Golden yellow and warm orange look good on the cub, and bright purple and pink on the wings will help the little visitor pop. Add this to your Lion coloring page collection, alongside Bat and Cow.

- 3Paint the butterfly's outer wings sky blue, its inner wing panels lemon yellow and its body lavender purple, leaving the small white highlights untouched.
- 4Color the flower petals rose pink, the flower centers lemon yellow, and the leaves and grass leaf green.
