Garage Day with a Robot Mechanic, Disney Cars
Coloring guide
Up front in this garage scene sits a little car with big round eyes and a wide smile, and a friendly robot mechanic leans in from the right with a large wrench. The robot has a round antenna on its head, a boxy face and jointed arms attached to a post. Shelves behind them hold a stack of four tires, two jugs of oil or fluid, a small bottle, a toolbox and a row of screwdrivers and wrenches. Two windows run along the top of the back wall. Thick outlines and large shapes make this free printable easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Sunny yellow or candy red works well for the car, and a cool silver-blue for the robot keeps it from blending into the shelves of tools.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big background: fill the garage wall and the wall behind the robot with light blue, and the floor with pale gray.
- 2Color the whole car body, hood and roof in cherry red, then leave the two big eye whites and the smile teeth white.
- 3Paint the wooden shelves and side panels honey orange and warm brown, the toolbox leaf green, and the blue and red canisters sky blue and cherry red.
- 4Color the robot head and arms sky blue, its neck and joints golden yellow or pale gray, and keep its two eyes white.
- 5Fill the tires and wheels with slate gray and the hubs with silver gray, then add pale yellow headlights and a coral pink tongue.
- 6Optional: add a little charcoal black shadow under the car and along the tire edges for depth.
