Peru Llama at Machu Picchu, a Countries Coloring Page
Coloring guide
Front and center, a fluffy smiling llama wears a woven blanket with diamond shapes and dangling tassels. A flag with a coat of arms in the middle flies on a tall pole next to it. Stone terraces and little pitched-roof houses climb the hillside behind, with a steep rocky peak above them and puffy clouds around it. Spiky leafy plants and rounded boulders fill the foreground corners. Between the woolly fur, the blanket patterns and the stone steps, there are big areas and tiny details for every kind of colorer. Red and white suit the flag, pinks, teals and yellows brighten the blanket stripes, and soft greens fit the mountainside. Print this free page for some screen-free time at home. - 2Color the flag's red side sections with red, and keep the middle stripe and the emblem area white.
- 3Color the distant mountains with steel blue and light blue, then add teal and olive green to the big central peak, and moss green to its shadowy patches.
- 4Fill the grass, bushes and plants with lime green and grass green, and use forest green for the darker trees and leaves.
- 5Color the rocks with light gray, the stone terraces and walls with sage gray, the small hut with tan, and the cliff face with khaki brown. Leave the clouds white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker green along the bottom edges of the grass and rocks to give the scene some depth.
