A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the grass and leaves: fill the tall blades and the grass patches on the ground with grass green, and use light green for the patches under the snakes.
- 2Color the mama snake's head and long body: paint the head light green and the body butter yellow, leaving the eye whites and the tongue white.
- 3Paint the left snake with orange on its body and golden yellow on its head, keeping the round spots white.
- 4Color the right snake's head pale mint, its coils steel blue, and its tail bright sky blue, leaving the diamond shapes white.
- 5Fill the baby snake's coils with lavender purple and lilac, and its head with cream yellow, then add coral pink and lilac to the big flowers.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading under each snake's coils and inside the flower centers to give them more depth.
