Mermaid on a Rock with Cute Fish and Seahorse

Sitting on a flat rock on the sea floor, a friendly young mermaid with long wavy hair rests one hand on the stone and smiles right at you. She wears a seashell top and a beaded necklace with a small shell pendant, and she has a starfish and a shell tucked into her hair. Her tail is covered in rounded scales and ends in a big ribbed fin that curls toward the bottom. Six striped fish and a little seahorse swim around her, with bubbles drifting up the page. Tall seaweed, coral, sea sponges, scallop shells and a starfish fill the seabed. You might shade the scales from teal to purple and save warm pinks and oranges for the starfish and shells. This free printable suits a range of ages, with both big open areas and fine detail. Looking for more? Our Family and Vegetable coloring pages pair nicely with this Cute page.
