Smiling My Little Pony Looking Back With a Butterfly Mark
Coloring guide
This little My Little Pony stands in profile and looks back over her shoulder, smiling sweetly with big sparkly eyes. Her wavy mane falls over her face and down her neck, and her long curly tail sweeps out behind with a bow-like loop at the top. The cutie mark on her hip is a butterfly circled by tiny flowers, a nice spot for detail work. Two simple flower outlines float on the left, and the rest of the page is blank, so kids can add their own ideas. Large shapes and clear lines make it easy for young colorers to stay inside. Soft purple or pink for the coat, with turquoise and yellow wings on the butterfly, will make it stand out. Print it at home for class time or a rainy day. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the pony's body, head and front leg with butter yellow, leaving the small hoof highlights on the lower legs white.
- 2Color the main mane and tail with bubblegum pink, working in long flowing strands and curls.
- 3Add lavender to the alternating mane and tail strands so they look striped next to the pink ones.
- 4Use soft purple on the darker stripes and the curly ends of the tail and mane for depth.
- 5Color the inner ear with peach, then leave the white highlights in the mane sparkling.
- 6Optional: add a little extra soft purple along the shadow side of the body to make it look rounder.
