With big expressive eyes and a smile, a friendly police car cruises along a suspension bridge. It has a light bar on the roof, a shield badge on the door, and a sturdy front bumper guard. Tall bridge towers and curved cables frame the car. Past it, hills, a small town, and a lighthouse sit along the shoreline, and three sailboats float on rippling water below the bridge. Up top, a sun with long rays shines between puffy clouds while three seagulls glide by. A few bushes fill the bottom corner. A red and blue light bar on a deep navy body works well, with sunny yellow for the sun and fresh greens and teals for the water. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the water in the lower half using water blue, and fill the sea area around the sailboats and pillars.
- 2Color the bridge tower, deck beams and pillars in coral red, leaving the thin metal lines in between as they are.
- 3Fill the road and the bridge railings with warm gray, and use light gray for the pillar bases.
- 4Paint the mountains and the bushes in emerald green and forest green, then add the sun and sailboat sails in golden yellow.
- 5Color the police car body and details, leaving the car's front bumper and the windshield light, with navy blue for the car's side panels and a pale blue for the windows.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the bridge and along the water edges to make the scene feel deeper.
