Waving Officer Leaning Out of a Police Car Window
Coloring guide
A cheerful young officer leans out of his patrol car window, grinning and waving with one hand. He's wearing a police cap with a badge, a collared shirt with shoulder epaulets, a tie, and a small badge on his chest. The car has a light bar on the roof, a big shield-shaped badge on the door, a side mirror, and chunky round wheels. Behind him there's a leafy tree and a small bush beside the road, a bright sun with rays in the sky, and dashes marking the pavement below. Large, simple shapes make this free printable a good pick for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Gold for the door badge and blue and red for the light bar work nicely, and a sunny yellow sun finishes things off. Add this to your Police Cars coloring page collection, alongside Tractor and Cars.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the main car body, the front and rear sides, and the side mirror with bright blue, leaving the door panel and upper body white for now.
- 2Fill the police cap, the officer's shirt, and the cap brim with royal blue, then add dark navy to the necktie.
- 3Color the car window and the glass behind the officer with sky blue, and fill the tree trunk and the hair with warm brown.
- 4Paint the face, arm, and ear peach skin, then color the wheels medium gray, the hubs silver gray, and the bumpers charcoal gray.
- 5Add golden yellow to the sun, the door badge, the cap badge, and the headlight, then color the red part of the light bar red and the middle of the light bar light gray.
- 6Optional: add grass green to the bush and grass, and keep the door panel, tree leaves, headlight frame, and road markings white for a clean look.
